With more than 3000W of redundant power on a 19" 1U shelf that fits in a 300mm (11.8") deep cabinet, this power shelf is the perfect answer to the growing number of applications where space is a constraint.
The ACE104 is the perfect answer to all power requirements in the 850W to 4000W range. It's equipped with four configurable power slots, each supporting either our ECOR1048 (AC/DC input, 48V — 1kW output) or CDCWI1048 (DC/DC, 48V — 1kW output) converter modules, so the system can be matched to the actual power source available on site. One dedicated slot hosts an industrial-grade monitoring unit, upgradable at any time with battery management functions and even a communication card for remote control via TCP/IP. This PSU shelf's communication offers unrivalled functions supporting XML, SNMP, webserver, and FTP, all compliant with international standards.
The monitoring unit supports all necessary telecom energy monitoring and control functions at the lowest initial investment, including battery current limiting, de-rating curves, and customized alarm thresholds. It can be upgraded at any time in the product life cycle to COMPAS, Alpha Innovations' embedded monitoring software, giving secure remote access to system parameters, alarms, and event logs via XML, SNMP, FTP, and web-based services. Python scripting is also supported for on-site automation, such as alarm logic, remote test routines, or access control functions.
This solution can be configured to support NiMH batteries from ARTS Energy, and the ACE104 is scalable — it can be paired with the ACE105 for up to 5 additional power slots in the same 1U footprint.
