The CAPTIN 1000BW is a total solution designed specifically for use in access network outdoor cabinets and shelters. As an integrated rack-mounted DC power system, it combines power supply and management, environmental management, access control, and more into a single chassis.
Developed in close cooperation with market-leading access network operators, it combines redundant power back-up with almost unlimited capabilities for monitoring and control of infrastructure. Remote communication over IP is provided without the need for any proprietary application or software.
Integrating site, security, and energy management functions into a single power system brings significant savings in terms of module optimization and cabinet cabling. The compact form factor (280mm deep × 19"/ETSI wide × 2U (88mm) high) allows a reduction of overall cabinet size compared to earlier solutions. The modular construction of this PSU shelf enables progressive investment by installing optional modules in the field at any time.
The integral control module features an SNMP and XML standard open architecture. IP-based services enable fast and easy transmission of information directly to the appropriate teams (security, power, access, etc.) as required by the operational organization of the network.
This solution can be configured to support NiMH batteries from ARTS Energy.
