Alpha Innovations joins SENTINEL Project (EDF 2024)

The Alpha Innovations SENTINEL project (European Defence Fund 2024) marks a new milestone in our strategic growth. Alongside our European partners, we are redefining military energy standards cleaner, more resilient, and perfectly adapted to the demands of future theaters of operation.

Breaking dependence on fossil fuels

Supported by a broad European coalition, the SENTINEL program (Sustainable Energy Network Technologies Innovative Next-generation Energy Levels) aims to radically transform energy production and distribution across all operational theaters. This large-scale project will develop hybrid, intelligent systems to alleviate the logistical burden on deployed forces.

The project is built around the prototyping and qualification of 17 key energy capabilities, tested in realistic military scenarios across diverse climates. These innovations cover sectors where Alpha Innovations’ expertise is decisive:

The strategic role of Alpha Innovations

Alpha Innovations will provide distributed power conversion systems to interconnect diverse energy sources—DC, AC, intermittent renewables, and batteries into a unified local micro-grid.

Toward decarbonized and sovereign defense

This participation reinforces our positioning as a major player in dual-use innovation (civilian and defense). By contributing to SENTINEL, Alpha Innovations is not only addressing environmental challenge, it is strengthening the security of supply and the strategic autonomy of European armed forces.
