From Supplier to Partner

We are on a mission to make our entire supply chain more sustainable. We started by analyzing the types of packaging we receive from partners and setting standards for acceptable materials. With the development of a supplier’s charter in 2023, we have the ambition to inspire and engage our partners to reduce waste in packaging materials, especially the plastic usage.

Reusing and Replacing

We have also performed a similar analysis of all packaging materials we purchase and consume in-house. With the goal of reducing or eliminating plastic usage, we have invested in a creasing machine that allows us to reuse cardboard instead of expansive polyurethane foam packaging.

We have also opted for coextruded polyethylene (LLDPE) stretch film, designed for pallet wrapping and security during transportation. This type of film has the ability to biodegrade safely within two years from the end of its life if it accidentally ends up in nature.

A Reusable Packaging Project

Our biggest accomplishment is the reusable packaging project we developed in partnership with one of our main clients. By designing perfectly sized wooden transport boxes, we are reducing handling time and reducing waste from packaging materials, as well as reducing our carbon footprint from transportation.
