  • Central Energy Converter for Remote Powering over communication cabling.
  • The board offers four independant power sources designed to use existing twisted pair cables from existing telephone cable networks according the standard IEC 60950-21 RFT-C architecture.


The  CEC4L350WGAC  is  part  of  Alpha Innovations solution  for  remote  powering  of  telecommunication equipment located in remote sites. It is intended for use on the telecommunication centre side, or in a street cabinet.
The  CEC4L350WGA  is  derived  from  the  CEC4L320  that includes  four  fully  independent,  fully isolated DC/DC up converters, each feeding one Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS) copper pair with 350  VDC.  The output current  per  converter  is  limited  under  60  mA,  to comply with the relevant standards (IEC60950-21).
Each converter (or its subrack) includes detections for defectives POTS and POTS not connected to a Remote Site. In this case, the feeding voltage is reduced below 50 VDC (protection mode).
